The opera house is stunning. The lobby is all white and gold with crystal chandeliers which off course are everywhere in Prague. The interior is hrseshoe shaped with 3 tiers of boxes all around plus the main floor. I got a few pics which I posted to FB.
The opera Madame Butterfly, always a tear jerker. The staging was lovely and the singing great. The lead did not look 15 and the child was a girl who was definitely older than 3 but the acting was excellent and we had third row seats.
Since it started at 7 we had sushi first at 5 which was just about right for my travel weary tummy.
It is gorgeous out and we are planning to go to the Jewish quarter to see the historic synagogues, the graveyard and jewelry.
